I like the way Ancient Veil reveals color between the darker ironstone patterns. Electric blue, green, turquoise, and golden flashes appear as the pendant turns, giving the stone more to explore than a single color. Its angular outline makes a strong contrast with the flowing engraving.
The sterling silver frame follows the opal and is finished with Polynesian-inspired scrollwork and darkened details. This pendant is handcrafted in my Southern California coastal studio.

18-inch waxed cotton braided cord included
