I like the weight of the earthy pattern in Iron Bastion. Mahogany, copper, and ember-red ironstone form the background, while green and electric blue reveal themselves as the stone moves. Its broad shape suits the shield-inspired setting.
The polished raised silver and dark recesses bring out the frame's details. This pendant is handcrafted in my Southern California coastal studio around an individual Koroit boulder opal.
