What I love about this boulder opal is how the blue and aqua ribbons flow through the stone. Turn it in the light and bright green flashes and soft lavender tones reveal themselves between the bands. If you love an opal you can keep looking into, this one would be a beautiful addition to your collection.
Handcrafted in .925 sterling silver, the square shadowbox setting pairs polished silver edges with a dark, oxidized interior that makes the opal’s colors pop.
The split shank features two polished 4 mm half-round silver bands with flat inner surfaces. It measures approximately 12.6 mm across the split near the setting and 8 mm underneath. The exterior ring face measures approximately 28.25 × 19.75 mm, and the stone measures approximately 18 × 9.8 mm.
Size: US 8.25 (8¼). The substantial band may feel snugger than a narrow ring in the same size.
