Ember Relic captures the meeting point between ancient earth, glowing fire and the restless sea.
At the center of this one-of-a-kind pendant is a natural Australian boulder opal measuring approximately 31.16 millimeters. Deep red and rust-colored ironstone creates the foundation of the stone, while brilliant flashes of electric blue, turquoise, orange and violet appear through its natural veins and formations.
The opal is framed in a hand-fabricated sterling silver setting with an elongated spear-like silhouette. Flowing engraved details travel around the face of the pendant, while the pointed upper and lower silver elements emphasize the natural shape and movement of the stone.
The reverse is fully finished with a detailed hand-cut and engraved backplate rather than being left plain. This additional metalwork gives the pendant the feeling of an ancient ceremonial relic and makes the back nearly as compelling as the front.
Every natural opal has its own color, pattern and geological character. This exact pendant is completely one of a kind. Once it is sold, it cannot be duplicated.
